News Articles: Full Article Detail Capernwray with Karen, Rachel and Steve05/06/2005Saturday 4th saw the start of the Open Water section of their course. Apart from the fact that Rachel picked up a poorly ear in the week so turned up to give moral support for the other two with Richard, Joshua and Ben coming for a weekend in Morecambe. Steve a nd Karen completed dives one and two without hitch but Karen then encountered a problem and wasn't able to complete the third dive.....Steve was cruising by this point. A pleasant evening for every one was had that night with a meal and Steve was joined by Rachel and Joshua....so many Rachels and Joshuas here!!! Sunday 5th and Steve turned up bright and early, but only for the bacon butties!! Karen turned up with a cold which explained her problems with the dive three. Richard covered the shore duties whilst Steve finished off his last dive before becoming certified....well done that man. We went for a quick pleasure dive before drawing a close to the weekends proceedings. Karen and Rachel are slated to finish off their course in July, so more on that at the time.
