News Articles: Full Article Detail Day 320/03/2005Today was the Ras Mohammed National Park trip. On President II the first dive was on to Shark and Yolander reef. The dive starts as a drift dive with the boat dropping divers off on to a spectacular wall where the depth is 800m! Because of it's location at the tip of the Sinai where the two gulfs of Aqaba and Suez meet, the life is spectacular. Martin swam in to a 'spiral' of shoaling barracuda and watched them swim around him for about 3 or 4 minutes. Following the reef around you go across a saddle on to Yolander reef where there is the wreck of the container ship Yolander that spilled it's load of baths and toilets before sinking in to the depths. The container remains, toilets, baths,a crocodile fish, blue spotted rays and and old BMW series 3 are now part of the reef. The second dive that day was on Ras Ghaslani. As the sun moves around it throws beautiful shaddows and throws a different light on the reef.
