News Articles: Full Article Detail Day 219/03/2005We asked to out on a boat that was going further afield today, so we set out for Tiran on President II. Nicola got sea sick on the way out and blamed it on some new friends we met, Sandy and Richard. It had been Sandys' birthday the day before and we all went out to dinner that night. It had been a very rough journey out and Nicola said she was 'tired'!! Once in the water though, sea sickness disapears and she was fine as we dived Jackson Reef. The boat was very crowded making kiting up difficult, but with such a big ocean, once in the sea you can loose all the other divers. Second dive was on the back side of Thomas Reef. There was a very strong current and the drift took us almost all the way around. The sea calmed down on the return journey so it made for a more pleasant return to the jetty.
