The Company

Beyond Blue is a diving school created by very experienced divers to teach those who are in the early stages of their diving adventures.

Training Philosophy

We believe that students learn to dive more quickly and enjoyably when they get a more individual style of tuition. We purposely keep our class sizes to a minimum (maximum of two) so that all of the students in a class get the maximum amount of help at whatever stage of the course they are at. We know that new divers sometimes have concerns about the diving they are doing; these concerns can often go unspoken in a larger group. With Beyond Blue this will not happen. We consider our courses to be an enjoyable time where small groups of like minded people are seeking to achieve the same thing; to learn to dive safely, quickly and most importantly, whilst having fun! Many of our past students from around the country are now our friends and we still dive with them long after they have finished courses with us.

Personalised Courses

If you are not able to get to one of our scheduled courses Beyond Blue may able to teach you on a one to one basis if that is what you prefer to provide you with the ultimate tailor made personalised course. These courses are particularly useful for busy individuals (or couples who want to learn as a couple) but unable to get the time available to them when courses are being run. Likewise, Beyond Blue may be able to teach ladies only courses with a female instructor. If you have a female group or want to learn as an individual, again contact us at info@beyondblue.co.uk to discuss your needs and costs of courses.

Children’s Courses

Among the courses offered by Beyond Blue are some for children. These are supervised and conducted by staff who have passed the stringent checks in relation to Child Protection. We want your children’s experiences of diving to be great fun, which we know they will be! Parents are always present when their children are in the water.

Instructional Staff

All in water staff used by Beyond Blue, including its owners, are fully qualified PADI instructors with years of experience in many diving conditions. They are renewed members (that is they are current and updated with the latest requirements from PADI) and able to teach a full compliment of courses. They are also First Aiders, trained to respond to the majority of divers’ problems. Their safety record is exemplary.
